Ordered the full brisket and while it came in a little lighter than originally expected the quality of the meat was second to none. A fourteen hour smoke on my pellet grill made for an awesome meal shared with friends. I can’t wait for my next brisket.
I have been making my grandmother's traditional Jewish brisket recipe for the Jewish New Year and Passover for more than 40 years. Every year I have made exactly the same recipe. Over time I have used many suppliers, both kosher and non-kosher, for my holiday feasts. In recent years the quality of brisket that I found from my traditional suppliers of 10 pound "double" briskets declined seriously as they brought in imported frozen product in place of domestically produced beef.
